The Evangelions: biological, human-controlled robots. Designed to combat the alien menace designated ANGEL. Designed and controlled by the agency known as NERV. Based on ANGEL technology from the First Impact on Antarctica. The Pilots: all children born exactly 3 months after the Second Impact. The only ones that are Evangelion-compatable. All other human beings cannot merge correctly with the Evangelion unit to control it.
