Cruel Angels' Attack

*Adam*
	Adam was the second Angel to be found, with Lilith being the first. Adam was found in Antarctica, and those who found him tried to contain him in his embryo state. This instigated the Second Impact when Adam, in response, released an enormous amount of energy and melted the entire continent. The Eva units were cloned from Adam, so it can be presumed that he would possess the same abilities as the Evas, as well as the ability to manipulate energy (as he demonstrated before).
*Armisael*
	Armisael was the fastest Angel to be faced by NERV to date. This Angel could change its form, adding to its extreme manuverablity. Armisael's only form of attack was merging with its opponent, in a way similar to Ireul.
*Azrael*
	Azrael was very similar to Sahaquiel, in that it attacked its targets orbitally from long distance. Azrael mentally rapes its targets before attacking them, leaving them paralyzed and helpless. Azrael's mental attack was the source of Asuka's coma. The AT field of Azrael was very strong, and proved a challenge for the land-based Eva Units.
*Bardiel*
	Bardiel, the thirteenth Angel, was a parasitic Angel that took complete control over its host. Bardiel infested Unit 03 as the fourth child, Toji was just beginning to pilot it. Because the immense threat of a haywire EVA, and Shinji's reluctance to destroy the Evangelion, NERV activated the Dummy Plug System for Unit 01 against Shinji's will to tear through Unit 03 with Toji still inside.
*Gaghiel*
	Gaghiel was the only aquatic Angel to be faced so far, and its only weapon consisted of its superior size and its immense jaws. Although Gaghiel was enormous, it had remarkable agility (due to the fact that it was aquatic).
*Ireul*
	Ireul is almost the perfect Angel, composed of colonies of nanomachines which work together to form a single functioning intelligent circuit capable of adapting to any environment or situation it may encounter, thus Ireul's survival mechanism is that of total adaptability through continual evolution hence making the Angel an almost invulnerable opponent. Ireul possesses no armament, however, as the Angel is effectively an organic super computer, Ireul is quite capable of hacking into computer systems thus causing acts of sabotage. Ireul is also capable of merging with matter thus allowing the Angel to merge with its opponents attacking from within, and like all the other Angels, Ireul possesses an AT field, though its effectiveness is unknown.
*Israfel*
	Israfel was the first Angel to be engaged by two Evas simultaneously and, due to the damage incurred to Tokyo-3's intercept system, is also the first to be intercepted by NERV instead of UN and/or JSDF. This Angel's unique ability to separate into two separate Angels. Besides this bizarre ability to separate its self, Israfel also possessed some kind of offensive laser weapon, though its destructive power was somewhat lacking compared to the destructive arsenals at the disposal of most of the other Angels. Israfel's AT field was also extremely poor. It's main threat was the fact that it would not be defeated unless both of its halves were destroyed at the same time.
*Kaoru (Tabris)*
	Kaoru (Tabris), the Angel of Freedom Kaoru, the seventeenth Angel, was an Angel that took human form and actually became an Eva pilot. Kaoru became friends with Shinji Ikari, and later demanded that Shinji should kill him so that the Third Impact would not be started by Kaoru. Kaoru also possessed an exceptional AT field. Kaoru was able to gain any synchronization rate with the Eva as he wished.
*Leliel*
	Leliel was definitely one of the more bizarre Angels that NERV find themselves pitted against. Leliel was six hundred and eighty meters in diameter with a thickness of three nanometers within which was an inverted AT field, the sphere projected above Leliel was in fact the Angel's shadow. More intriguing is the fact that within the Angel's AT field was an alternate dimension or another galaxy, describable purely by abstract mathematics, which made up the Angel's body, and it was into this world that Leliel lures and traps its victims. Leliel expands silently beneath its opponents pulling them into its body and was quite capable of trapping an Eva indefinitely in this way, indeed Leliel could quite easily engulf an entire city should the need arise thus making the Angel a formidable opponent.
*Lilith*
	The second Angel is Lilith, the Angel held by NERV deep within terminal Dogma. It is the first angel that was found. The seventeenth Angel, Kaoru, refers to humans as lilims, implying that Lilith is humanity's mother. The room Lilith resides in deep within terminal Dogma is actually NERV's LCL, Link Connection Liquid, manufacturing plant, it is here that Lilith hangs nailed to a large scarlet cross with the lance of Longinus buried within her chest preventing growth to the lower part of her body. NERV collect the blood that flows from Lilith's body and use it as LCL. Lilith is also the key to the human instrumentality project and the third impact. Apparently Lilith is capable of instigating the third impact and so is therefore invaluable to both Gendo and SEELE. Unit 01 was cloned from Lilith, rather than Adam, and therefore could be used as a substitute in this project. Lilith plays a major role in the life of Rei: Rei's soul was cloned from Lilith, in a process unexplained. During the events in End of Evangelion, Rei finally returns to her 'mother', Lilith, and then Lilith takes on the appearance of Rei.
*Ramiel*
	Ramiel The fifth Angel, Ramiel,'s armament consists of a drilling or boring device, which the Angel uses to attack NERV directly, and an exceptional AT field. As if this weren't enough, Ramiel is also capable of skimming across surfaces and possesses a devastating accelerated particle beam cannon capable of shooting right through an Eva given roughly five seconds. Ramiel also indiscriminately targets opponents that enter within a set distance of the Angel, thus all in all Ramiel is a flying fortress capable of decimating those foolish enough to approach.
*Sachiel*
	Sachiel, the third Angel, is basically an Angel with no other abilities than those of grunt combat. It's hands can deliver enormous amounts of pressure, and it also possesses some sort of beam launching weapon. However, Sachiel's AT field is relatively weak. It is the first Angel to appear after the Second Impact.
*Sahaquiel*
	Sahaquiel, the tenth Angel, used a very odd form of attack. Sahaquiel itself was a huge living bomb, and it dropped small pieces of itself to "aim". It's AT field was exceptionally strong, to prevent it from being shot down while it was in the upper atmosphere.
*Sandalphon*
	Sandalphon, the eigth Angel, was not all that dissimilar to Gaghiel, though is capable of surviving extremely hot temperatures, what with the Angel's natural habitat being within an active volcano, as opposed to Gaghiel. Sandalphon was also a lot smaller in comparison, however, this was most likely due to the fact that Sandalphon is discovered during its infancy and wasn't fully developed at the time of the Angel's discovery. Sandalphon relied on its speed and agility to rapidly engage the enemy in close combat, much like Gaghiel, as the Angel possessed no means of which to engage opponents at long range. Sandalphon's only means of attack came from its razor sharp teeth set into the Angel's powerful jaw, though this is more than enough to inflict extensive damage on any of the Angel's opponents. Sandalphon also possessed an AT field like all the other Angels, though its effectiveness was unknown.
*Shamshel*
	Shamshel, the fourth Angel, is solely suited to the role of close combat because of its use of powerful tentacle-like energy projections. Other than these awesomely powerful tentacles, Shamshel carries no further armament, though the Angel is capable of skimming across surfaces in much the same way as Sachiel. Shamshel's AT field is as bad as Sachiel's, making it far easier to damage.
*Zeruel*
	Zeruel was very similar to Shamshel, except that it was armed with flexible blades that folded as its tentacles. Zeruel had a skimming ability similar to that of Sachiel and Shamshel, and a very powerful AT field to boast. Zeruel also possessed some sort of beam weapon similar to Sachiel's, but far more devastating.
